Nice view, a must place to visit.
The place is so nice, you won't regret going! This is a must go place in Aurora if you're visiting Baler. Can only be accessible by boat ride and, around 45 minutes, travel time. The restaurant and private rooms are also closed due to the low number of people visiting the place.
The good thing is, we ended up having the entire cove for our pleasure.
Serenity at it’s finest…
By boat is the means of transpo since the road has been closed. We rented a boat for PHP3000, since there were 7 of us and we couldn't fit in a smaller boat.
We climbed the Sundial with our guide. It's a bit dangerous since the other railings are broken. But it's worth the climb.
Best view
deep blue sea, white sand beach coupled with lush green mountains, what else can you ask for? travelling by land could a bit difficult if you don't have your own vehicle. the uphill and downhill road is stiff. however, the view is just breathtaking. by seacraft, depending on the season, the sail may be rough but the view is also exciting. there's also a private resort in the area.
the cove itself is wonderful but it is privately owned and restricts access to the beach which is a public domain. you have to pay 350 pesos/person to stay there. the beach is not ideal for swimming too, a bit rocky. there's a river on the side where it is also nice to swim in clean clear and cold fresh water.
this is currently only accessible by boat. used to be accesible by car but road is also privately owned, so unless you know the land owner it's a no go.
there's a scenic light house which you can hike with 100+ cemented stairs, the view there is really outstanding! be careful with the cliffs as the rail guards are all rusted and destroyed
It's so beautiful 👍 check my full vlog on youtube.
